Boney Kapoor, renowned film producer, recently revealed that he’s had to offer apologies to his children, including Janhvi, Khushi, Arjun, and Anshula Kapoor, after inadvertently disclosing family matters in the media.
In a candid conversation with ABP Live, Boney admitted to occasionally oversharing during interviews, much to the chagrin of his family. He confessed that his children often express dismay over his openness with the media, emphasizing that certain aspects of their lives should remain private.
Recalling instances where he may have crossed the line, Boney shared, “Sometimes, I get carried away and I say a lot of things. And they (my kids) say why do you have to speak so much?” He acknowledged their perspective, understanding their desire for the audience to discover them as actors without personal details being divulged in interviews.
Boney recounted a poignant moment when tensions escalated to tears, revealing, “They have scolded me, gotten upset with me. After getting upset, kids cried, I cried, I apologized, they said dad don’t say sorry. It has reached that height.”
Reflecting on his own identity within the family dynamic, Boney expressed pride in being recognized as the father of his accomplished children and the brother of renowned actor Anil Kapoor. Despite occasional missteps, he embraces the unique role each family member plays in shaping his public persona.
As Boney navigates the delicate balance between public and private life, his candid reflections offer insight into the complexities of fame and family dynamics in the entertainment industry.
